How TikTok pays creators

The Creator Rewards Program pays for qualified views on original videos longer than one minute. Qualified views exclude views from paid promotion, fraudulent views, and views that are too short. Pay is calculated per 1,000 qualified views, commonly reported between about $0.40 and $1.00, with some finance, tech and education creators reporting more.

Who can join

  • At least 18 years old.
  • At least 10,000 followers.
  • At least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days.
  • A personal account in good standing, in a country where the program is available.
  • Videos over one minute long.

How to earn more per view

Longer watch time, a US, UK or other high-value audience, and search-driven niches usually raise the rate. Posting more original one-minute videos raises the total. See how often to post on TikTok.

Other ways TikTok creators earn

Brand deals, TikTok Shop affiliate commissions, LIVE gifts and subscriptions often pay more than views alone. The calculator only covers Creator Rewards.
