What the result means
A sharp drop with a low For You share is the classic sign of a restriction. A drop with a normal For You share usually means the content, the hook or the posting time changed, not a penalty.
Check the official signal first
TikTok shows restrictions in the app under Settings and privacy, then Account, then Account status. If a video is marked not eligible for the For You feed, that is the closest thing to an official shadowban notice.
